Important contact persons at the university or outside

Important persons are existing within the university as well as in other organizations, of course, too.

At uni SIegen, especially the persons from the link below can help you a lot.

They know about formal procedures and you can get on their mailing list to follow their information on calls and programs on national and EU level:

https://www.uni-siegen.de/start/forschung/foerdermoeglichkeiten/kontaktbox/kontakt.html (german only)

National contact points (Nationale Kontaktstellen)

Additionally, we have several neutral points of contact that may consult you how to frame your proposal to a certain call. If youre having an idea for a proposal, you might want to get in contact with them early on, to understand whether your idea fits the call from their perspective and what they would want in a succesful proposal.

These contact points are existing for most different topics, both regarding content and formal procedures:

See here for an overview:

TODO: Add info on Nationale Träger und Kontaktstellen

Boilerplate for jumpstarting your proposal

Fragments you can reuse for your proposal. What kind of pieces can be reused and are needed is in part defined by structure demanded by each call.

Some things are repeating in terms of argumentation. Following chapters often can be reused or might only need rephrasing with existing templates, depending on the facilities and agencies (bmbf, eu,...):templates for different agencies and facilities ( can be received from project executing organization directly on the call page or )
  • Self-portrayal
  • prior work /projects,
  • Gender-issues,
  • to limited extend: exploitation
  • Webinar of the project execution organisation
